The underwater world of Thailand beholds a vast array of wonderful and unique marine creatures from the smallest invertebrate through to the giant sperm whales. Kelp forests grow atop the rocky limestone reefs which are home to many different species of fish life, sponges, Green turtles, Anemone reef, sea stars, Blue-spotted stingrays, Silvertip shark, Leopard sharks and of course Whale sharks.

The Andaman Sea
The Andaman Sea is on the western side of Thailand and has many beautiful diving areas. Thailands Andaman Sea is on the western coast of Malaysia, on the outerer Andorran islands till a small portion of the eastern Indian ocean and extends to Myanmar (Burma). The Gulf of Thailand
 
The Gulf of Thailand is on the eastern side of Thailand and extends to the southern Thailand up to the southern Vietnam. Since the Gulf is approx. 75 m deep in the deepest place, the temperatures warmer than the Andaman Sea. This temperature difference causes another variety of species of fish and corals. A reason more for dives.
